Clean the Aerolatte milk frother before first use. Start the device in soapy water and rinse the metal part well. Turn on for a few seconds to dry. Do not attempt to pull or bend the metal part out of the case ! This is attached to the engine. You can clean the plastic housing with a slightly damp cloth, but this part should never come in contact with water. Of course, the milk frother can NOT be washed in the dishwasher.
Three steps for perfectly frothed milk.
- Fill a high mug or special milk jug for a third with milk and heat it to 60 degrees, do not cook.
- Place the metal part of the Aerolatte milk frother in the milk, close to the bottom.
- Turn the milk frother on for 15 to 20 seconds and rotate the milk frother on the bottom from the center to the edge. If the milk gets thicker you can bring the milk frother up a little but always stay below the top of the milk froth. Don't forget to switch off the Aerolatte Mooo milk frother before you remove it from the milk.
Fresh, full, semi-skimmed or skimmed milk all work equally well. The Aerolatte milk frother can even be used with goats, sheep and soy milk or with powdered milk! For milkshakes, the milk must be ice cold and 60 degrees in other cases (not boiling). A small amount can be heated to 850 watts in 55 seconds. For the best results, purchase a thermometer.
Strictly speaking, a cappucino should be 1 third coffee, 1 third hot milk and 1 third froth - So be sure you don't get too much milk foamed up. Pour your favorite black coffee through the frothed milk and sprinkle some chocolate powder over the top.
Basically a coffee with a lot of milk and 1 cm of milk foam on top. You can make this as above as the cappuccino with a little less foam, or make a coffee with a lot of milk and add a little milk froth here.
Forget the milk, combine instant coffee powder and sugar and cold water and use the milk frother until it is foamy. Then wash ice cubes or add ice.
